In the trailer, we see Michelle (Emma Roberts) at her friend’s wedding ready to catch the bouquet. However, her boyfriend Allen (Luke Bracey) has other plans. Instead of allowing her to catch it, he jumps in the way instead. Michelle gives him an ultimatum – one day to tell her they’re on the road to somewhere.

Richard Gere plays a man who seems to be ending his affair with Susan Sarandon. Who doesn’t seem to take him walking out very lightly. Diane Keaton (Gere’s wife) and William H Macy want to have an affair, but end up watching porn and eating in bed instead. After their daughter, Michelle comes home, Gere makes a statement about how a ring is a symbol of commitment. However, Keaton doesn’t have it on since she took it off the night before.

Then the trailer gets even messier! Allen goes home to get advice from his parents about marrying Michelle. It turns out that Allen’s mother is who’s having an affair with Gere. AND his father is the one trying to have an affair with Keaton. The two sets of parents have NEVER MET! So, they decide to invite them over for dinner. You can only image what happens next.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

Michelle (Roberts) and Allen (Bracey) have reached the point in their relationship to take the next steps toward marriage.  Thinking it is a good idea to invite their parents to finally meet, a dinner is set and the games begin.  To everyone’s surprise, the parents already know each other well – all too well – leading to distinct, defining, and hilarious opinions about the value of marriage.

Maybe I Do will be in Theaters Nationwide on January 27, 2023!
