Guns N’ Roses are among the greatest hard rock bands of all time. Their three album peak of Appetite for Destruction, Use Your Illusion I, and Use Your Illusion II is unrivaled for almost any band out there. This November Universal Music Enterprises and Geffen are celebrating the double album with a brand new box set. Guns N’ Roses – Use Your Illusion I & II Super Deluxes features a total of 97 tracks, 63 of which are previously unreleased. There are plenty of configurations for this release including a Super Deluxe Seven-CD + Blu-ray, a Super Deluxe Twelve-LP + Blu-ray, Two-CD Deluxe Editions of Use Your Illusion I & II, and standard 1CD and 2LP versions of Use Your Illusion I & II. These two albums have been fully remastered for the first-time ever, from the original 96kHz 24-bit transfers from the original stereo 1/2-inch analog masters.

Guns N’ Roses’ highly anticipated third and fourth studio albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II were originally released simultaneously on September 17, 1991. Upon release, Use Your Illusion I reached No. 2 and Use Your Illusion II took the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart concurrently, selling over 500k in the first two hours of release, with an estimated sales of over 685k and 770k respectively within the first week of release. Why the discrepancy you ask? Well, people picked Use Your Illusion II over I at the time because of the single “You Could Be Mine” from Terminator 2: Judgement Day’s soundtrack.

For any Gn’R fan, this is an easy choice. The Super Deluxe CD or LP is one of the best gifts or just a plain purchase you can make. There’s tons of unreleased material for the CDs and the shows on the Blu-ray allso have never been released before. It’s a real treat for them to release this, and you can grab it on November 11th, 2022.
