In a time where Multiverse stories are opening the doors for actors to reprise their old roles as superheroes, it seems like there is no limit to the stories Marvel and DC can tell. With that being said it seems another actor is ready to throw his hat into reprisal mode. It now looks like former Batman actor Val Kilmer wants to play the Dark Knight one more time. With actors Robert Pattinson, Ben Affleck, and Michael Keaton all suiting up again as Batman I guess it would only make sense to give Kilmer one more shot.
In an interview with IGN’s Jim Vejvoda Kilmer was asked if he would have any interest in returning as Batman.
IGN: Specifically, we now have multiple universes in comic book movies where actors who’ve played Batman or Spider-Man in the past team up with the current actor playing the role. Would you have any interest in playing Batman/Bruce Wayne again even in a cameo?
VAL: Yea pleaseSource: IGN’s Jim Vejvoda
Kilmer last played Batman in the 1995 Batman Forever. There he faced off against Harvey Dent aka Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and the Riddler (Jim Carrey). Unfortunately, we never got to see Kilmer suit up again as the dark night. Of course, as of now, there seem to be no plans on bringing him back as Batman, but you never know what will happen in this crazy DC multiverse.
