Hunting vamps is so ‘90s. Sarah Michelle Gellar searches for wolves now.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star has joined the cast of Paramount+ series Wolf Pack. The show comes from Teen Wolf executive producer Jeff Davis, with the story based on the books by Edo Van Belkom. It follows two teenagers (Armani Jackson and Bella Shepard) whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature.

Gellar joins the cast as arson investigator Kristin Ramsay, a highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss. In addition to her acting role, Gellar will also executive produce Wolf Pack.

Gellar joins previously announced cast members including Jackson as Everett, Shepard as Blake, Chloe Rose Robertson as Luna, and Tyler Lawrence Gray as Harlan.

Deadline posted news about Gellar’s involvement in Wolf Pack, which was also announced to fans during the Teen Wolf: The Movie panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Gellar is best known for her lead role in supernatural series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Her film credit include Cruel Intentions, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and the live-action Scooby-Doo films. She also recently lent her voice to Star Wars: Rebels and Masters of the Universe: Revelation.

Paramount has not yet revealed a release date for Wolf Pack.
