Crunchyroll Kicks Off Spring 2022 With Massive Slate Of 50+ New Anime

It’s a new year for Crunchyroll, so naturally, they have an entire slate of anime lined up for Spring 2022. Even better: there’s so much of it.

Crunchyroll is proud to announce its upcoming anime for Spring 2022. Thus far, the list includes over 50 new and returning anime series, with Crunchyroll proclaiming it to be the “biggest season in Crunchyroll history”. It certainly seems like it judging from what we have lined up here. Most of what we got are fantasy anime, isekai and otherwise. Not many sci-fi anime inbound, despite what the artwork suggests above, although we do have a single anime in that genre. Curious? Then check it out below:

Looking like a suit of armor on the outside and a skeleton on the inside, he is the Skeleton Knight. If his identity is discovered, he could be mistaken for a monster and become a target!

Looks like Overlord, but with an actually heroic skeleton hero.

I honestly don’t like the message this anime is sending about women. Oh, women with power can’t use their power on their own, and need a man to use it for them? I mean, what? What kind of a message is that?
