With the recent news that Netflix’s Marvel shows are leaving that platform, and other news about the shows making their way to Disney+, there is one question, is Disney going to edit the shows for content?

THS has exclusively learned that the shows will air uncut and unedited on the Disney+ platform. There won’t be any bleeps or cut scenes from any of the shows. Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, and The Defenders will air in Canada on Disney+ starting on March 16th.

The shows will also hit the US version of Disney+ around that same time. The way that Disney is getting around the violence and language is with a new Parental Guidance content warning. So you can look forward to the shows being in their original form minus some mentions of Netflix.

This is fantastic news for fans of the shows who had worries that Disney would edit out some of the more adult content from these shows. They showed a side of the Marvel universe that we’d never seen before, and it would have been a shame to edit them. Luckily, that’s not the case, and we’ll all be able to enjoy them in their original forms soon enough. The Netflix Marvel shows leave the platform on March 1st.

As for the future of these characters, we’ve already seen Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin) make their way to the MCU in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye.

So, are you excited to see the Netflix Marvel shows on Disney+?
