It’s the beginning of the middle of the end… By which I mean Part 2 (of 3) of the final season of The Walking Dead is about to walk back onto your screen.
Season 11 Part 2 arrives February 20 on AMC, kicking off eight new weekly episodes. The Walking Dead returns with many of our heroes fighting imminent hellfire under Reaper attack; while others battle Mother Nature’s torrential wrath in Alexandria. For all, their world is literally crashing down around them. Meanwhile, life in the Commonwealth is not as idyllic as it seems. For some, hope will be renewed. Others will be pushed past the point of no return. One truth holds tight: Lives hang in the balance with each decision drastically changing their future, their chances of survival, and the state of each community.
Check out the trailer for Part 2 below.
“Darkness is heavy. Some of us carry more than others… because we’re strong enough to hold the weight,” the trailer opens ominously.
The preview sees the drama, thrills, and gore escalate as life in the Commonwealth comes to a boiling point.
“Brick by brick and block by block, we’re putting the world back together the way it was,” declares Governor Pamela Milton.
But come on… we all know better than to trust politicians by now. Especially those promising happy endings.
The Walking Dead season 11 Part 2 officially premieres Sunday, February 20 at 9pm EST/PST on AMC. However, AMC+ subscribers can catch it a week early on February 13.
