It looks like Amazon isn’t pulling any punches at NYCC 2021, especially not with Hanna. Apparently, they have a third season all lined up for us. They even have an epic new teaser trailer for us today. Check it out below:
As I said, Amazon debuted this teaser trailer for Hanna season 3 at New York Comic-Con 2021. The teaser trailer, as well as Amazon themselves, also reveal the release date for said season. Apparently, Hanna will make her debut on Amazon Prime Video on November 24, 2021 in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Seeing as how it’s Amazon Prime Video though, you’re going to need to cough up some cash for a subscription. Prime Video isn’t a free streaming service, unfortunately.
Hanna Season 3: Details
It isn’t just that teaser trailer Amazon has for us today about Hanna season 3. They apparently also want to officially confirm the addition of Ray Liotta (Shades of Blue, Marriage Story) to the cast of season 3. Liotta will play Gordon Evans: “a respected former military man and intelligence operative who wields incredible insider power. Evans sees himself as a visionary with a rigid moral code, a true patriot who will do what needs to be done to protect his country.” Yeah, he sounds like a regular General Shepherd to me. This may excite fans of the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy.
Amazon continues the hype by giving us a synopsis for Hanna season 3. The official synopsis goes as follows:
“Season Three of Hanna continues the journey of an extraordinary young woman, played by Esmé Creed-Miles, who was created by the sinister organization Utrax and trained to be an assassin. Hanna (Creed-Miles) is now secretly trying to destroy Utrax from the inside and free herself from its grasp with the help of her previous nemesis, former-CIA agent Marissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos). Together they have coerced high-ranking Utrax agent John Carmichael (Dermot Mulroney) into aiding their mission, but her fellow young assassins, Sandy (Áine Rose Daly) and Jules (Gianna Kiehl), and new foes are starting to suspect Hanna’s plot. As Hanna moves closer to her goal, she begins to uncover not only a world-changing agenda but the true power behind Utrax that stands between her and freedom.”
Conclusion
Amazon officially announced season 3 of Hanna at New York Comic-Con 2021 with a teaser trailer. In addition to confirming Ray Liotta as part of the cast, they also announce the release date. We’ll get to see Hanna and co. back in action on November 24, 2021. It will only be on Amazon Prime Video though, so you’ll need to hand over some cash to watch it. Unless you already have an Amazon Prime subscription, that is. In which case, you’re good to go.
