Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time is finally heading outside of Japan in English, and a host of other languages. That was the good news. And now for the bad news.

What a nice relaxing song to play during the extreme destruction and violence.

Amazon Prime Video is proud to announce that they will be bringing the fourth and final installment of the Rebuild of Evangelion anime film series by Hideaki Anno, Kazuya Tsurumaki, Masayuki, Mahiro Maeda, and Katsuichi Nakayama outside of Japan for the first time. Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time will become available on Amazon Prime Video on August 13, 2021. They will be releasing this anime film in over 240 countries and territories, not counting Japan, of course. Japan has been showing this anime film since March 8, 2021; so they don’t count here.

But anyways, Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time will also get dubs in 10 languages, including English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. In addition to those dubs though, viewers can also watch the anime film in the original Japanese audio with subtitles in a grand total of 28 languages. So yeah, hopefully, Amazon Prime Video has got you covered there in the language department.

And now for the bad news: Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time will be an Amazon Prime Video exclusive. Yeah, that’s right. You can only watch the final installment of the Rebuild of Evangelion quadrilogy on that streaming platform, and nowhere else. So if you want to watch this, you’re going to have to get an Amazon Prime Video subscription. Well, better bring out those wallets.

Nice poster. Too bad about the exclusive part though.

Amazon Prime Video isn’t only announcing their exclusive release of Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time though. They are also announcing that they are going to release the previous 3 anime films along with it. All exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, of course. This includes Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone:

When it all started.

Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance:

And lastly, Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo:

When things go completely and utterly bonkers.

All 3 of these anime films will have the same release as Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time: release in over 240 countries and territories, dubs in 10 languages, subs in 28 languages, etc.. So if you missed any of the previous films, or you just never watched any of them to begin with, now’s your chance to start. Presuming that you have an Amazon Prime Video subscription, of course.

Conclusion

Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time will be finally released outside of Japan, courtesy of Amazon Prime Video. This anime film finale will be released on August 13, 2021.
