The Walking Dead season 11 has it’s part 1 finale this Sunday on AMC. Ahead of that grand finish, AMC announced today that Part 2 returns on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at 9 pm ET. The second half of the season has the final eight episodes of the show. New episodes air a week early on AMC+, beginning February 13th.
The synopsis for the second half of the season goes like this:
This February, The Walking Dead returns with many of our heroes fighting imminent hellfire under Reaper attack; while others battle Mother Nature’s torrential wrath in Alexandria. For all, their world is literally crashing down around them. Meanwhile, life in the Commonwealth is not as idyllic as it seems. For some, hope will be renewed. Others will be pushed past the point of no return. One truth holds tight: Lives hang in the balance with each decision drastically changing their future, their chances of survival, and the state of each community.
The series based on Robert Kirkman‘s comic books is reaching an end next year. That’s not all for The Walking Dead universe though. We’re still getting episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and other projects are in the works. The show has shattered ratings records over ten seasons and remains the #1 series on basic cable for the 12th consecutive year.
It’ll be sad to see it end, but it’s going to be a fiery conclusion.
