CD Projekt Red looks like they are committed to trying to fix things from the days of the console version of Cyberpunk 2077. At least, that’s what it looks like judging from the amount of freebies here.

Slightly better graphics is nice.

CD Projekt Red are proud to announce Patch 1.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 on August 17, 2021. The patch will go live for PC, consoles (assuming anyone is still playing the game on consoles), and Stadia “soon”. CD Projekt Red doesn’t actually specify exactly when the patch will go live. We can only guess that it won’t be long after this article is published.

More time to choose options for sex partners is definitely nice.

So what’s changing for Cyberpunk 2077 in Patch 1.3? Well, there’s a huge list of things that are changing for this game. The list of changes include extensive bug fixes, general improvements, balance changes, stability improvements, UI improvements, improvements to specific quests, and even bug fixes specific to the PC and consoles. However, as you might note in the title, the biggest change comes in the form of some new DLCs. We’ll get to that below.

Being able to reset your skill tree is also nice.

Cyberpunk 2077: Free DLCs Are The Best DLCs

Clearly, a cyberpunk girl with a baseball bat is the best spokeswoman for this patch.

There are 3 DLCs in total included in Patch 1.3 of Cyberpunk 2077. All of them are 100% free for all users. You can find the DLCs in-game in the Main Menu under “Additional Content”. The list of DLCs in Patch 1.3 are:

  • Johnny Silverhand’s Alternative Appearance – can be enabled in Settings in the “Additional Content” tab.
  • Multilayered Syn-Leather Deltajock Jacket, Luminescent Punk Jacket – both available in the stash in V’s apartment after receiving a message from Viktor after completing The Ride. They’re of Rare/Iconic quality by default, Crafting Specs to craft a higher quality will also be unlocked.
  • Archer Quartz “Bandit” – available as a reward or for purchase (depending on choices made by player) after completing Ghost Town and then receiving a message from Dakota or Rogue. If you haven’t received the message, make sure to be in the Badlands area and move further away from Dakota’s workshop. Dakota will also need a couple of days to contact you.

Conclusion

CD Projekt Red are soon going to release Patch 1.3 for Cyberpunk 2077. This patch features 3 new DLCs entirely free for users. Moreover, the patch also contains a host of bug fixes and quality of life improvements for the game as a whole. Who knows? Maybe the game will even win back some of the goodwill CD Projekt Red lost back when they first released the game. Especially for the console versions.
