As I mentioned in my previous article, Ted Lasso season one was one of the bright, shining spots of 2020, a year which was otherwise awful. Just awful.
If you were among the throngs that instantly became fans of the plucky football club that could, AFC Richmond, you know exactly what I’m talking about. And if you’re not, I advise you to pull your head out of your bum, buy a subscription to AppleTV+ and watch the entire first season, right now. I’ll wait. If you had done it the first time I told you in the other article, you wouldn’t have to do it now. But guess what! You didn’t! And now you have to experience the pure, wholesome joy of watching Ted Lasso season one this afternoon. Good for you! But also, shame. Shame on you for waiting this long.
Anyway, THS’s very own Ben Kliewer sat down with a handful of the series’ stars. He talked to them about their characters and what they’re excited about for season two. Or series two, if you’re from Jolly Ol’ England.
Check out Old Buddy Ben’s sit-down with Toheeb Jimoh, who plays sweet baby angel Sam Obisanya, as well as Cristo Fernandez who plays one of the series breakout characters Dani Rojas!
So, what did you think of Ted Lasso season one?
Ted Lasso season two premieres July 23 only on AppleTV+!
