Stephen Amell is no stranger to a wrestling ring. He’s had a couple of the best celebrity matches in Pro Wrestling’s history. This time around, he and Alexander Ludwig star in the new show Heels. The Starz show from creator Michael Waldron and showrunner Mike O’Malley tells the story of two brothers. Jack (Amell) and Ace (Ludwig) Spade, in Georgia. They live their normal lives during the day, but at night live out dreams as professional wrestlers. It follows a family owned wrestling promotion as these two brothers war over their father’s legacy.

Here’s some of the official synopsis:

In the ring, Amell’s Jack Spade is the charismatic villain, or heel, of the Duffy Wrestling Association (DWA). In the real world, he’s its hard-working owner, a husband and father trying to make ends meet while fighting to realize his impossible dreams. He has the mind of an artist in the body of a warrior, and a Steve Jobs-ian need for perfection — and for control. He says he’ll do whatever it takes to build the DWA into an empire. Will he go so far as to risk his marriage, or his relationship with his brother?

It also stars Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Kelli Berglund, Allen Maldonado, James Harrison (yes, the former football player), and Chris Bauer. If you’re into professional wrestling or just great television, this show looks like it has something for everyone.

You can check out Heels on Starz. It premieres Sunday, August 15th at 9:00pm ET/PT.
