With all the Star Wars content heading our way, we are all excited to see what characters from the past make a return in some of the new series. We have seen Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka returned in season 7 of The Clone Wars, and after this week’s Obi-Wan Kenobi cast announcement it looks as if Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru will also be returning to the Star Wars universe. So, the real question is, when does Jar Jar Binks make his return? Well, as of now it looks like we have our answer after Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best confirms that he will not be returning as Jar Jar anytime soon.

Will We See Ahmed Best As Jar Jar Binks Again?

“Thanks for the love, but I will not be in this series. As much as I would’ve loved to be a part of it. But I’m ecstatic to see folks who I love dearly back together doing great things”.

So as you can see by Ahmed Best’s tweet it seems that poor Jar Jar Binks is still stuck on the streets performing as a clown. Or could Best be throwing smoke at us, and we could possibly see the redemption of Jar Jar in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series?
