The COVID-19 pandemic curbed the majority of theater-goers for the better part of a year now. While there is light at the end of the tunnel, Disney is moving with a half-and-half approach. Movies like Black Widow, Cruella, and several others are heading to Disney Plus and theaters at the same time.

This also means that Black Widow is moving dates, from May 7th to July 9th. These two high-profile movies are heading to Disney Plus Premier Access, which comes with a $30 rental fee.

Pixar’s Luca is skipping the theater entirely and moving straight to Disney Plus on June 18th. The other films that got postponed in the huge move were: Free Guy (August 13th), The King’s Man (December 22nd), Deep Water (Jan 14th, 2022), and Death On The Nile (February 11th, 2022).

Disney has postponed Black Widow more than any other Marvel movie, due to complications with the COVID-19 pandemic. This is great news for Marvel fans that will FINALLY be able to see the film.
