Well Tessa Thompson might have let it slip that Michael B. Jordan is directing and starring in a Creed 3. After the first was directed by Ryan Coogler and the second film was directed by Steven Caple Jr., Jordan is the next up. You can see her confirm the news in this interview with MTV News (At 11:50). Now this obviously hasn’t been confirmed yet by the studio, but this is a definite solid source. Tessa Thompson starred in the first two films and has a working relationship with Jordan. It’s been long rumored that Jordan would get the chance to direct Creed 3, but this goes a long way to fully confirming that rumor.
Creed II was a big hit at the box office, so there’s definitely a market for a third film. It just depends on what the story would be like.
