With the return of Boba Fett in the Disney+ hit series The Mandalorian, many fans have been celebrating the return of actor Temura Morrison. Well, it rumored that we will be getting more Morrison in Star Wars. According to a report from Kessel Run Transmissions, Morrison will be joining Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen on the set of the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
What will be Temuera Morrison’s Role In The Obi-Wan Kenobi Series?
First before I go any further please remember this has not been confirmed by Disney. So as of now all of this based of the rumor from the Kessel Run report.
So, who will Temuera Morrison play in the Obi-Wan series? Well, obviously with the Clones modeled in the image of Jango Fett, Morrison has quite a few roles he could do. So lets take a look at what roles if not all, he could play.
Commander Cody
Could Commander Cody make a return? If he does it makes you wonder how that meeting will go between him and Obi-Wan. “So, yeah General Kenobi, sorry about the whole Utapau thing. but I heard you got Grievous, great job General.” I think this could be the most likely one to happen, but who knows.
Captain Rex
With this series taking place 10 years after the events of the Revenge of the Sith, we also know that it takes place during the Star Wars: Rebels series. So, with that, we do know that Rex is still alive, and could possibly show up in the Kenobi Series. Also Temuera Morrison’s age would fit right in with the timeline.
Boba Fett
This one I put last just because I think it could be the least likely to happen, but I have been wrong before. Fans of The Mandalorian have been going crazy with Temuera Morrison taking the role of Boba Fett. Could he also play the role of a younger Fett, possibly helping the empire hunt for Jedi, or could he still be looking to get revenge for his fathers death?
My Final Thoughts On Temuera Morrison
If this rumor is true I really could see Temuera Morrison casted in one of these roles, if not all of them! Honestly I am just excited that we are getting so much new Star Wars content. But if I could pick one of these characters to see in the Kenobi Series, it would be Rex.
