Yesterday was Disney Investor Day, which dropped a ton of news and exclusive footage about upcoming projects. The Marvel slate in particular debuted a lot of new content.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier picks up after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) takes on the Captain America moniker and heads out with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) on a global adventure that tests their abilities – and their patience. What If…?

What If…? flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. The series will be Marvel’s first animated show for Disney+. Premieres summer 2021. Find out more here.

Ms. Marvel

Ms. Marvel follows Kamala Khan – a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel. But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school – that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Premieres late 2021 on Disney+. Find out more here.

Ben Mendelsohn as Talos in Captain Marvel
  • Secret Invasion A new series that stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos—characters who first met in Captain Marvel. The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.
  • Ironheart Another new series that stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.
  • Armor Wars Don Cheadle returns as James Rhodes (aka War Machine) in a story based on the classic Marvel comic series. He must face what happens when Tony Stark’s tech falls into the wrong hands.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Written and directed by James Gunn and set to debut during the holidays in 2022.
  • I Am Groot A series of original shorts following everyone’s favorite baby tree.
