Yesterday Disney and Lucasfilm announced their new Star Wars promotion: “Mando Mondays.” Featuring items from The Mandalorian, Mando Mondays will be an “all-new global consumer products, games, and publishing program kicking off on October 26 that will debut goods inspired by the show.” Included among the products are a slew of The Child offerings, some of which we told you about on Monday. Those include a bust from Gentle Giant and a new LEGO set of everyone’s favorite Baby Yoda. Additionally, Hasbro got in on the action too with its new Black Series Credit Collection of The Mandalorian figures.

Now, sure, this may seem like a money grab from Hasbro. But why not? How many collectors out there have multiple versions of the same figure simply because they love the character? I know of one that has half a room dedicated to Boba Fett alone. With the Credit Collection series, however, you’re not just getting a rehash of the same figures from before. These are definitely unique.

Hasbro Credit Collection comes to the Black Series

Each 6″ figure in the new series comes on a retro-style card back featuring a stylized image of the character in question. Likewise, accompanying each figure is an Imperial credit of different denominations (hence the name “Credit Collection”). The detailing on these figures is what truly sets them apart, however, featuring bold colors and extraordinary accuracy.

Thus far the offerings include Din Djarin (the Mandalorian), Paz Vizla (Heavy Infantry Mandalorian), Gina Carano’s Cara Dune, and IG-11. We suspect more are to come, as we’ve already seen Stormtroopers and Death Troopers from the show arriving for the regular Black Series. Don’t be surprised if they appear in the Credit Collection as well.

Starwars.com will reveal new items every Monday leading up to The Mandalorian Season 2, which premiers October 30. What characters from the show do you want to see in the Credit Collection? Greef Carga? Moff Gideon? Kuiil? Personally we’re holding out for Zero and Gekko.
