What do you get when you combine slasher flicks, time travel, horror comics and the Saw franchise? Something like To Your Last Death.
The upcoming action/horror flick basically looks like a graphic novel come to life. The story follows Miriam, who wakes up as the sole survivor among her siblings after a deadly game of revenge instigated by her father. But then she receives an offer from a supernatural entity to go back in time and try it all over again. Now, Miriam must survive both her father’s blood lust and the Gamemaster’s ever-changing rules to save her siblings as she relives the worst night of her life.

To Your Last Death brings in a bunch of well-known faces to genre film and TV. The voice cast includes Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Gotham), Ray Wise (Twin Peaks, Robocop), Dani Lennon (The Love Witch), Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses), and William Shatner (Star Trek). So based on the cast alone, this one will probably be worth checking out!
“What drew me to this project was how dark it was. This idea that we can be finger puppets, that somebody could be up there, wreaking chaos in our lives,” said Baccarin.
Plus, To Your Last Death has already made quite the impression on the film festival circuit. The film raked in over 20 awards, including Best Film at the Northeast Film Festival Horror Fest and Best Villain and Best Writing at Hexploitation. To Your Last Death was also nominated for Best Feature at the Pasadena International Film Festival.
To Your Last Death is available now on digital platforms, and releases on Blu-Ray October 6.
