Check out your first look at the Starfleet crew in the upcoming animated comedy Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Star Trek: Lower Decks focuses on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos. It follows the (mis)adventures of the crew balancing their duties and social lives while dealing with a number of sci-fi anomalies.

The series comes from Emmy-Award winning Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty). The voice cast includes Ensigns Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Boimler (Jack Quaid), Rutherford (Eugene Cordero), and Tendi (Noël Wells). The bridge crew includes Captain Carol Freeman (Dawnn Lewis), Commander Jack Ransom (Jerry O’Connell), Lieutenant Shaxs (Fred Tatasciore), and Doctor T’Ana (Gillian Vigman).

Lower Decks is the newest show joining CBS’ lineup of Star Trek programming, joining Discovery and Picard.

The series premieres on CBS All Access on August 6. New episodes will air every Thursday.
