Bobby Lashley vs. Aleister Black
This match started off with the two setting each other up with some tests of how badass they are. Lashley and Black went to the outside where Lashley took major control of the match. Bobby is definitely a physical freak still. Black blocks Lashley from hitting two stalled suplexes. Aleister gets some distance, goes for a drop kick, but misses. Bobby hits a good looking powerslam for a close two count. Lana teases interfering but doesn’t. This will come up later. Lashley hits another slam on Black for a near two count. Bobby is dominating so far in this match. It’s a bit surprising that Black isn’t getting more offense in.
Black changes that and gets a knee to Bobby after a spear attempt. Lana shrieks in the background as Aleister baseball slides into Bobby. He hits a moonsault to take control of the match again. Lashley quickly stunts Black with a running powerslam for a two count. Bobby is beating the holy hell out of Black now. Aleister is showing some crazy resilience in this match with Bobby nailing him with power moves. Lana hops on the apron and tells Bobby to spear Black instead of slamming him. Black hits Black Mass out of nowhere for the three count.
Wrestlemania 36: Analysis and Grade
This was a fun, if fast affair between the two of these guys. For a thrown together match it was super fun. Bobby Lashley can be frustrated with Lana. Aleister Black can tout this as his first Wrestlemania win. I would love to see Black finally get some run on the main roster at one of the titles. His character is too cool to be wasted. Nothing more to say about this one, it probably would have done better with some build, but we can’t get everything we want.
