These past few weeks there has been a lot of news coming at us about season two of The Mandalorian. Between Rosario Dawson playing Ahsoka, Bill Burr returning, and Michael Biehn joining the crew; there has been a lot to talk and be excited about. Well now we have a little more to discuss and debate due to the new banner that Dave Filoni now has on his Twitter account.
Rex in The Mandaolrian?
As you can tell from the picture above we get a tease of what appears to be Ahsoka riding a wolf. But that is not the only thing that sticks out. It also seems that Captain Rex is riding besides her. I always like to remind people that this has not be confirmed and needs to be taken as a rumor. But how great would it be to see Rex back in action with Ahsoka in The Mandalorian
Captain Rex
We know that Captain Rex and Ahsoka have had a long history together starting in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. We then learned in Rebels that Rex was still alive after Ahsoka sent Ezra to find him. Rex would then go on to fight with Ezra, Kanan, and the rest of the Ghost crew to take down Thrawn and free Lothal from the clutches of the empire. After the battle at Lothal Rex fought with the rebel fighters lead by Han Solo on the forest moon of Endor. So now could it be possible that his story continues in The Mandalorian? Well just like everything else in this series we will have to wait and see.

While we don’t know for sure if this picture is a tease of Captain Rex coming to The Mandalorian, it sure is enough to think he possibly could. At least for me, that is one of the fun things about Star Wars is talking about the what ifs and seeing if you are right. So until season two hits on Disney+ we will more then likely have to wait for the answer. Unless we get a tease at Celebration this year.
