Marvel characters have appeared on television for quite some time now, but Disney+ will be taking things to another level. For the first time, MCU heroes and villains will be the protagonists of their own series on the streaming service. And after much anticipation, fans are getting at first look at Loki and Tom Hiddleston’s reprisal.

Kevin Feige presented details about the series at a Disney investor meeting in April, which has now been made public. During the presentation, the logo for Loki as well as some concept was revealed. Take a look at the official image below:

Marvel Dropping Loki Hints

The title font recalls a classic 2011 run of Journey Into Mystery by Kieron Gillen, which starred Loki. This is the very run that inspired the new show, according to ComicBook.com, so the nod is fitting.

Another tidbit of note is the marquee behind Loki in the concept art. If that’s a brand-new screening of Jaws and not a revival, then it looks like we’re heading back to 1975. The make of the car in the frame suggests the same, which means everyone’s favorite trickster will be hopping through time. Whether he’ll have the Infinity Stone he stole in Avengers: Endgame is still in question, but he’ll certainly be messing with the timeline.

The Disney+ streaming service is set to launch in November of this year. Loki will be accompanied by Marvel’s What If…?, WandaVision, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Together, these stories will expand the scope of the MCU and bring audiences closer to their beloved heroes outside of the movies. A Feige himself explained it in a Variety interview, “The previous stance would be, ‘We only have a certain number of slots to make movies per year.’ That’s still true, but we have another outlet that I think will be very unique and very special.”
