Kylo Ren and Rey duel in The Rise of Skywalker. Again.

There seems to be something happening between Kylo Ren and Rey in this lightsaber battle. Are they fighting each other or are they working together? Do they still have that force connection from The Last Jedi? Above all can Kylo redeem himself? Either way this photo of them engaging in a lightsaber duel looks to be super impressive, even if a little cold with all that water about.

JJ Abrams can be seen directing the Knights of Ren with stunt coordinator Eunice Huthart. Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how epic the Knights of Ren look? I don’t know about you but I have been wanting to get a closer look at these guys since they were first mentioned in The Force Awakens. The brief glimpse we are given here is satisfying enough but I need to know more! For instance is there a reason there are no lightsabers? We don’t know as of yet, but here’s hoping they have more then a quick cameo in The Rise of Skywalker.

Zorri Bliss

Zorri Bliss played by Keri Russell seems to be a new character and comes from a new planet called Kijimi. She looks like she means business and has an interesting helmet and intricate costume. Could she be The Rise of Skywalkers Boba Fett? Either way she looks like someone I wouldn’t want to mess with.

Our Princess, our leader, our General.

An image of Carrie Fisher onscreen behind John Williams conducting an orchestra brings us to the realisation that General Leias’ role in the final film is likely to be a small but fitting ending to one of the sagas most beloved characters. JJ Abrams and Lucasfilm have decided to use some unused footage from The Force Awakens to help keep her memory alive in The Rise of Skywalker.

And there we have it. Hopefully we wont have long to wait until the next trailer or featurette, which according to comicbookmovie.com may debut at San Diego Comic-Con this July.
