WWE Women’s Champion Asuka is reportedly injured at Smackdown Live event.

Asuka and Mandy Rose wrestled in a match and Asuka took a nasty bump last night in White Plains, N.Y.  Fans at the live event were to report the possible injury. The bump came from a reverse flapjack in which Rose accidently dropped Asuka on her head.

The referee went to check on Asuka and through up the “X” sign signaling to the back to get the doctor.  The “X” signal is used to show that an possible injury is not part of the show and the possible injury is legitimate.

While being checked on by a doctor and referees Asuka was standing against the apron with her head down.  She was speaking to the doctor, but with minimal body movement. Reports are Asuka was able to walk back to the backstage area, but was helped by WWE staff.

Earlier Asuka tweeted she is fine which is great news.  However, we will see if she looks 100 percent at Fastlane.  Asuka is not scheduled for a match for Smackdown Live tonight, but we may still see her do a promo or reference the bad bump.

Rose’s twitter has no mention of the accident.  This must be a scary time for Rose as a wrestler because she is still relatively new and is set to face Asuka at Fastlane for the Women’s Title.  A lack of ring awareness on Rose’s part and possibly injuring WWE favorite Asuka could hurt Rose’s push. However, their match is still on for Fastlane according to WWE.com.

WWE Fastlane is set for this Sunday, Mar. 10, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
