In the Fast & The Furious franchise, the word “family” is used over thirty times. They say if you say something enough out loud it will materialize, and part of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s family will be joining the HOBBS & SHAW spinoff.
That’s right, the “Big Dog” of the WWE is extending his yard to the big screen. He will be featured alongside his real-life cousin The Rock, who will be reprising his role as Agent Luke Hobbs in the upcoming film. Roman will be playing the part of Hobbs’ brother.
The biggest takeaway from this, besides the film debut, is that Reigns appears to be doing much better in his fight against leukemia. “The time I’ve spent with my cousin on this wonderful island has truly been a healing grace,” Roman said on his Instagram page. “All of your outreach and support has been a blessing and it’s only pushed me to get back in the ring as soon as possible.”
HOBBS & SHAW is slated to premiere in theaters late July of this year.
