The Ark is one of the most popular recent sci-fi TV series on SYFY. It’s all the more amazing due to how low the critical reception for this show has been ever since it first launched on February 1, 2023. Nevertheless, the first season still reached 6.5 million viewers across all platforms in spite of that. Probably in no small part due to the efforts of the showrunners and executive producers: Dean Devlin (Independence Day, Stargate) and Jonathan Glassner (Stargate SG-1). SYFY is proud to announce The Ark season 2 with that official trailer above on YouTube. Said trailer shows that intrigue, mystery, and murder are all going to be part of this new season. Which is pretty par for the course for this series, really.
