“Ash” from RJLE Films and Shudder just celebrated its World Premiere at this year’s SXSW Film & TV Festival. The sci-fi horror feature film is gearing up for its theatrical release on March 21. It stars Eiza González and Aaron Paul, on a distant planet where Riya wakes up to find her crew decimated, and to make matters worse, she can’t remember what happened.

With the world premiere of “Ash” I spoke with the stars of the film, Eiza González and Aaron Paul. They shared with us how excited they were to work with each other for the first time after being friends for a while. González shares with us how she approached Riya’s character, being that we are on this journey of discovery with her, regardless of how terrifying it gets. ABOUT “ASH”
On the mysterious planet of Ash, Riya (González) awakens to find her crew slaughtered. A man named Brion (Paul) arrives to rescue her. An ordeal of psychological and physical terror ensues while Riya and Brion. They must decide if they can trust one another to survive.
