If you’re a Star Wars collector, chances are you’ve got an extensive collection of figures. If you’re a fan of all Star Wars media, then you’re also probably waiting for that one, final figure to round out your Ghost crew. The rest of our favorite Star Wars Rebels are already immortalized; Kanan, Hera, Ezra, Sabine, Ahsoka, and even Chopper. So come on Hasbro. Where is our Black Series Zeb?
Now, rumors circulated late last year indicating that Black Series Zeb was indeed coming. In fact, the portrait above is rumored to be the box artwork for the figure. (I’ll believe it when I see it, but let’s be optimistic.) If we are finally going to get Zeb, what other characters from Rebels would you want to see immortalized in Black Series form?
Black Series Zeb and other Rebels characters
Although it isn’t a new release, we already have Grand Admiral Thrawn in the Black Series. But there are so many other, great characters we could include. Adding Black Series Zeb is one thing, but how about Kallus? Kallus has one of the best character arcs of the entire series. Doesn’t he deserve his own figure? (I’ll leave the debate of Imperial Agent Kallus v. “hot” Kallus to you.)
Personally I’d love to see the Grand Inquisitor. He’s one of my favorite Rebels characters, and I would have loved to have seen more from him. (In fact, the Grand Inquisitor features heavily in my original fan fiction, I, Inquisitor, which you can read HERE.)
Other, potential characters to join Zeb? How about old man Rex, for starters. Or, perhaps even the Bendu? Governor Pryce was a central figure, as well. Dave Filoni created so many incredible character in the Star Wars Rebels series, it’s hard to choose.
But seriously, Hasbro. Black Series Zeb. Get on that, would you?
