Wicked fans, rejoicify! The Her Universe Fashion Show will return to San Diego Comic Con this year for a very special Wicked inspired show.
“Defying Fashion: Fashion That Defies Expectations” will serve as the 2025 theme. Universal, producer of the smash hit movie musical, will sponsor the show.
Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein returns to host the 11th annual show. It will take place on Thursday, July 24 at 6pm in the Seaport Ballroom of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego.
“This is going to be our most AMAZAFYING show yet!” Eckstein said. “It is a dream come true to have Universal as our sponsor for this year’s event! After experiencing the first Wicked film in IMAX, I was so inspired both creatively and emotionally. I cannot wait to defy fashion on the runway at San Diego Comic-Con!”

The Her Universe Fashion Show brings together talented designers of geek couture for a special competition. The winner of the fashion show gets to work with Her Universe to release a special apparel collection.
Designers interested in submitting their “Defying Fashion” looks for consideration can do so online beginning March 28. The submission portal will remain open for one month, closing on April 28. Learn more about the competition rules and submission guidelines at heruniverse.com.
