Kevin Hart is teaming-up with BET for Lil Kev. The new animated series is inspired by his life. This is the first-ever original adult animated series on BET. Viewers can expect to see Hart’s latest show in Spring of 2025. The comedian is promising a mix of heart and sharp comedy with the new cartoon.

“I’m excited to deepen the partnership between Hartbeat and BET on a project so close to my heart,” Kevin Hart said. “With comedy veterans Wanda and Deon alongside me, we’re bringing Lil Kev to life—a hilarious celebration of stories inspired by my Philly roots, a place that will always be home to me.”

The show begins in 1993 North Philadelphia. A 12-year-old version of Kevin Hart balances youthful creativity with his daily reality. Wanda Sykes stars as Hart’s mother Nancy. Deon Cole wil be playing Uncle Richard Jr. More casting will be revealed in 2025.
