Mike Mignola fans might be very excited for the upcoming film Hellboy: The Crooked Man. After all, it’s the first new Hellboy film in the film series ever since the Hellboy reboot back in 2019. In fact, this will be the second reboot of that film series. Not only that, but it’s looking to be a true horror film too; just with the titular half-demon hero as the star of the show.

At SDCC 2024, Ketchup Entertainment showed off the first official trailer for Hellboy: The Crooked Man at the aforementioned film’s panel, which they then subsequently uploaded to YouTube for everyone to enjoy. That panel also featured Hellboy himself Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2), Jefferson White (Yellowstone), Adeline Rudolph (Resident Evil), director Brian Taylor (Crank), and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola; so you know this is serious.

Alas, we don’t have a lot of other news about this Hellboy film beyond that trailer. All we know is that we will get to see the film sometime in Fall 2024. We’ll just have to wait for Mike Mignola or Ketchup Entertainment to give us more info about this upcoming film later.
