Transformers One will be the latest addition to the Transformers franchise when it finally makes its debut. Alas though, not a lot of people even know what it’s about. Fortunately, San Diego Comic-Con 2024 (SDCC 2024) is here to help. All with a brand new trailer at the convention to boot. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out that trailer below, and see for yourself if this is the Transformers movie for you?

Transformers One: SDCC 2024 Details

Complete with more human-like transforming robots.

At SDCC 2024, Paramount Animation and Hasbro are proud to officially debut Transformers One with that second official trailer above on YouTube. That trailer not only gives us a better idea of what this animated film is all about (namely: the origin behind Optimus Prime and Megatron’s antagonism), but that trailer also tells us exactly when we’re going to see this upcoming Transformers film.

Apparently, Transformers One will roll out into theaters on September 20, 2024. Alas, tickets are not yet on sale. That’s something we’ll have to wait for Paramount Animation and Hasbro to tell us at a later date.

The story of how it all started…complete with them trying to figure out how to car.

That’s not all, folks! Paramount Animation and Hasbro also has an official synopsis for Transformers One to tease the story a bit. You can check that synopsis out below:

TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.

Tune back in to THS to find out more Transformers news when we hear about those robots in disguise.
