About House of the Dragon Season 2
Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood novel, House of the Dragon explores a pivotal time for House Targaryen, 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Season 1 sets up events that divide House Targaryen and ultimately lead to civil war after King Viserys’ death. This split leads the characters (and fans) to align themselves with the late Viserys’ wife Alicent and her son Aegon, or Viserys’ daughter Rhaenyra and her husband Prince Daemon.
Season 2 will premiere on HBO June 16. You can stream season 1 on Max now.
