Game of Thrones fans are just a few months away from the return of House of the Dragon. Which means it’s almost time to return to the fantasy franchise’s favorite question: who will take the Iron Throne?

Season 1 of the series ultimately saw Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen decide to fight for the throne, up against King Aegon. And today, HBO cleverly encouraged fans to pledge their loyalty to either the Black or Green council, thanks to two separate trailers for the upcoming season 2. Check out both the Black trailer and the Green trailer below, and choose your side wisely.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood novel, House of the Dragon explores a pivotal time for House Targaryen, 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. The first season sets up the events that divide House Targaryen and ultimately lead to civil war after the death of King Viserys. This split leads the characters (and fans) to align themselves with the late Viserys’ wife Alicent and her son Aegon, or Viserys’ daughter Rhaenyra and her husband Prince Daemon.

The first season of House of the Dragon picked up eight Emmy nominations, as well as nods from the BAFTAs and Critics Choice Awards.

Core returning cast members for season 2 include Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans.
