Solo Leveling is turning out to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, hit anime series of Crunchyroll’s Winter 2024 anime season. Certainly, the numbers and critical acclaim don’t lie when it comes to this action-packed urban fantasy anime adaptation of the web novel series of the same name by Chugong. In fact, studio A-1 Pictures is so confident about the success of this anime that they’re already announcing season 2 of the anime. Keep in mind, this literally comes right on the heels of the season 1 finale, which just premiered on March 30, 2024. Don’t believe me? Crunchyroll is proud to announce Solo Leveling season 2 with that official teaser trailer above on YouTube. Apparently, this upcoming season carries the official title of Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-. Crunchyroll even confirm that they will be streaming this upcoming season 2. Honestly though, it does make sense. After all, they are streaming season 1. It would be quite odd if they lost the rights to season 2 for some bizarre reason.
Alas, what Crunchyroll isn’t giving us is the release date for Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-. It has only just begun production after all. We’ll just have to wait for A-1 Pictures to give us that news later. Whenever that may be the case.
