UPDATE: Judas Priest have announced a new album coming March 8th, 2024 titled Invincible Shield. Check out the lead single “Panic Attack” from the album right here.

Judas Priest are ready to hit the stage for the first time in 2023 at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California, but first, they’re teasing something new on their social media accounts. On both their official X and Instagram accounts, they posted the following message.

When you click on it, it leads to a page where you can input information to get notified of something coming for Judas Priest. One can only guess that this has to do with the new album they’ve been working on that’s due out sometime in 2024. The band has been teasing news about the album through interviews throughout the year. The only thing we do know for sure is that they’re working on a new album and have been in the studio. Maybe the crowd at Power Trip will get a listen to some of the new material.

There isn’t a countdown of any kind, so it might be an announcement of the new album and a single from the album. Judas Priest has done this in the past. For the Redeemer of Souls album, they released a snippet of the track “Dragonaut” before the album came out.

The band has been laying low for 2023 after taking their 50th Anniversary Tour on the road. They can finally play concerts in their home country in the United Kingdom because Ozzy Osbourne was forced to cancel the tour they had planned. They’ll be hitting the UK and Europe in 2024, so those fans might end up with a new album and the 50th Anniversary material.
