The AppleTV+ musical series, Schmigadoon! was a surprise hit for the streaming service. The series follows a backpacking couple, Melissa (Cecily Strong) and Josh (Keegan Michael Key) who are trying to reconnect in their relationship. The two accidentally get trapped in Schmigadoon, a magical town filled with singing and dancing reminiscent of the 1940s. However, they quickly learn that they can’t leave without finding true love…which they thought they had with each other.

At the end of season one, it seems Josh and Mel rekindle the spark they once had. So, hand in hand they walk back to New York…or do they? The finale episode ends with the audience unclear whether or not the two have actually made it out of Schmigadoon to back to New York. Well, now we have our answer! In the trailer for Season 2 of Schmigadoon, the pair are not back in NYC, but in the town of Schmicago!
