You know how NieR:Automata Ver1.1a got an indefinite hiatus back in late January due to a new outbreak of COVID-19 in Japan? Well, great news to all you 2B fans. They are finally cancelling their hiatus after four weeks in sleep mode. It was probably a nice nap for the androids, but now it’s time for them to wake up to fight for the glory of mankind.
2B, Wake Up
The official Twitter account for NieR:Automata Ver1.1a recently announced that the indefinite hiatus the anime went on will soon finally be over. Specifically: Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 9:30 AM (PST) is when we will finally see Ep. 4 of the anime. After that point, the anime will presumably continue on a normal weekly release each Saturday. Let’s hope there aren’t any more hiatuses after this. Fingers crossed, everyone?
You can watch all episodes of NieR:Automata Ver1.1a only on Crunchyroll. Unfortunately, this means that you will have to pay for a Crunchyroll premium account to watch 2B finally continue her martial adventures with 9S. If you’re strapped for cash and don’t have access to the Crunchyroll free trial anymore, then my advice is to wait for the anime to finish airing and then pay for a single month of premium to binge-watch it all in one go. That way, you get the most bang for your buck.
