In a mysterious and sudden post from the Twitter account @KennyPowers, they’re proclaiming that “The Pitch is back. 2024”. Eastbound & Down is the story of Kenny Powers, a former baseball star played by Danny McBride. The new trailer hasn’t been confirmed by HBO, but they are pretty busy with Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon at the moment. Check out the trailer below and see for yourself.

There’s a lot going against this, considering that it’s mostly made of footage from previous seasons, but that Stevie speech still gives me chills. We’ll have to see if this gets confirmed as being real or not. After all, wouldn’t it be the most Kenny Powers thing in the world to announce your grand return with old footage?
