Who would win: actor and international treasure Idris Elba, or a very angry lion? Don’t worry, we’re about to find out in Beast.
The new adventure thriller from Universal will see Elba’s Dr. Nate Daniels venture into the savannah with his two teenage daughters. Recently widowed, he wants to take them to South Africa to see where he first met his wife. But soon after meeting up with family friend and wildlife biologist Martin Battles (Sharlto Copley), things take a dramatic turn. What begins as a journey of healing jolts into a fearsome fight for survival when a lion, a survivor of blood-thirsty poachers who now sees all humans as the enemy, begins stalking them.
