Well, it seems that even after My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission debuted in theaters, Funimation is still trying to drum up hype for it. How else do you explain them releasing a pair of clips straight from said anime film? Don’t believe me? Then check both clips out below:

I swear, that looks like a Bloodborne boss fight.
Ah, got to love that comedy.

It appears that the apparently great time My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission had at the weekend box office wasn’t quite enough for Funimation. To further amp up the hype, they released these 2 clips from the film on YouTube. I guess they just really want people to head over to theaters to watch it. If you do decide to head over to theaters though, then you can purchase tickets here. The film released back on October 29, 2021; so you don’t have to wait to buy tickets.

My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission ~ Details

The anime films always need to have more explosions than the regular series.

By now, I’m fairly certain most of you know what My Hero Academia is. It is one of the most popular superhero anime series in the world right now, after all. Some of you might not know what World Heroes’ Mission is though. Well, it’s the third feature-length anime film of the My Hero Academia franchise after Two Heroes and Heroes Rising. It’s also, unfortunately, the lowest rated film among the trio, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad film.

I still wonder about those chromosome-shaped towers though.

The official synopsis for My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission from Funimation gives us a bit more details. Check it out below:

“When a sinister organization threatens to wipe out all superhuman powers, the fate of the world is on the line. With two hours until the collapse of civilization, Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki manage to work as a team, but there’s still one problem. Deku’s on the run for murder.”

Conclusion

Funimation has just released a pair of video clips from My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission. Apparently, they want to drum up more hype for the film even though it’s already out in theaters. It’s been out since October 29, 2021 actually. If you want to check out this anime film based on one of the most popular superhero anime in the world for yourself, you might want to think about grabbing some tickets from Funimation for yourself.
