It’s been quite awhile since we’ve had anything tangible from The Mighty Ducks. The Emilio Estevez starring film from the 90’s is a cult classic these days. Now we finally have the release date for the upcoming continuation, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. The series follows Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) after he’s been cut from his youth hockey team. In the cutthroat youth sports sphere, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), get together with coach Gordon Bombay (Estevez) to challenge all comers in youth hockey culture.
The show is executive produced by Steve Brill, creator of the original three movies, and ABC Signature. Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa are the co-creators and writers for the new continuation of the Ducks story. It also stars Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham, and DJ Watts.
You can check out the newest generation of Mighty Ducks on March 26th on Disney+.
