Sylvester Stallone will appear in The Suicide Squad.
The actor announced the news on his Instagram this morning. In the video, Stallone said he was on his way to work on the movie.
“Good morning everyone, it’s Saturday and I’m on my way over to do a little work with a great director, James Gunn, on Suicide Squad 2,” said Stallone.
The actor said he couldn’t provide details about the project. However, he did describe the movie as “unbelievable.”
“I’m very proud to be included,” he continued. “It will be well worth the wait.”
We don’t have any details yet on the role Stallone will play. He previously entered the Marvel universe thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
The Suicide Squad hits theaters August 6 2021.
