Normally we’d be pretty deep into spoiler season for the year’s latest Call of Duty game. 2020 is no normal year, so we’re a bit late on it. To catch up for lost time, Treyarch and Activision have been jump-starting the reveals for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. Last week we had the big reveal of the single-player campaign. A Trailer And All The Black Ops: Cold War Beta Information You’ll Ever Need
Warzone is returning from Modern Warfare. There are a host of new modes that are exclusive to Black Ops: Cold War. Also announced was the dates for the Beta for the game. Because of a ridiculous deal with Sony, Playstation players get the Beta and all additional content in the game early. Starting October 8th-12th, PS players get the beta. October 8th and 9th are exclusive dates for people who preorder the game early. The next weekend is for all players and starts October 15th and lasts until October 19th. Like the first Beta weekend, the first two days are exclusive for people who preordered the game.
To maximize the time with the Beta tests, it would make sense to preorder on the Playstation 4. But at a certain point, all gamers will have access to play. The second weekend will include crossplay. You can read more about the Beta test weekends and the multiplayer modes here.
Black Ops: Cold War is shaping up to be one of the best games in the Call of Duty series. The game looks great, and the multiplayer is a big part of that.
So, what do you think of the game? Are you picking it up on day one?
