The cast of Christopher Nolan’s latest film is already stacked and they’ll be joined by Zendaya and Anne Hatheway. Deadline is reporting that the two stars are next in line to sign on for the upcoming film. They’re joining the previously announced cast members Matt Damon and Tom Holland. This makes two movies in a short span that Zendaya and Holland will film together with Spider-Man 4 and this film.

The unnamed Nolan film has a tentative release date of July 17th, 2026. That July spot seems to be a sweet one for Nolan, as many of his films, including the Best Picture winner Oppenheimer, were released around then. Plot details for the film are being kept closer to the chest than most films out there, with plenty of speculation on what the film will eventually be about. According to Deadline’s sources, all the ones that have been published so far are incorrect. The film should start shooting in early 2025.

This marks Zendaya’s first appearance in a Nolan film and Hatheway’s third appearance after The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar. Both actresses have had busy 2024’s with films like Mother’s Instinct, The Idea of You, Flowervale Station for Hatheway and Challengers and Dune: Part Two for Zendaya.

Speaking of Interstellar, that film is celebrating 10 years with anniversary screenings and a new physical media 4K UHD release of the film. Tickets went on sale on November 7th, 2024. The 4K UHD Collector’s Edition of the film arrives on shelves on December 10th, 2024.
