Ado is perhaps one of the biggest rising stars of Japan’s music scene. In fact, her musical career began at the tender age of 17 when she made her debut with the digital single “Usseewa“. Since then though, her career has stretched much, much further than that. For instance: One Piece fans will recall that she was actually the singing voice of Uta in One Piece Film: Red. In fact, one of the songs she sang in that anime film, “New Genesis“, was not only the theme song for that anime film, but also topped Apple Music’s Global Top 100 charts. That’s how you know we have a star on our hands.
In fact, Ado is so popular that she went on a world tour with her music in her “Wish” tour, lasting from February to April 2024. All on her 21st birthday to boot. It was on this first world tour that she sang two solo live performances titled “Shinzo” (“Heart”) at the Japanese National Stadium, entering history by becoming the first solo female artist to do so.
Thus, you can imagine why Ado performing a second world tour would be such a big deal. You can also imagine why Crunchyroll would be so eager to hype it up. You know, since they’re the ones responsible for selling that world tour?
Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 “Hibana” Powered by Crunchyroll: Details
Crunchyroll is proud to announce Ado’s upcoming second world tour: Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 “Hibana” Powered by Crunchyroll. As you can tell from the title, this will be Ado’s second world tour after “Wish”. This time, she will visit over 30 cities around the world before closing out her tour at Honolulu, Hawaii in August 2025.
In fact, Ado herself has a few words to say about this upcoming world tour of hers. This even includes the meaning behind the tour’s name. You can check out said words below:
“Hibana” – I originally had an idea of naming this tour “Spark.”
To start a revolution can also be expressed as “ Spark a Revolution,” and the word “spark” is also often used in contexts like “light a fire,” “start a fire” and “provoke something.”
If my first world tour embodied my ‘Wish,’ then my second will ignite the spark I want to light in the world. I named this tour ‘Hibana,’ meaning ‘spark’ in Japanese, to carry my heritage with me on this journey. I aim to show my growth since the ‘Wish’ tour and deliver my best performances yet.
I hope to show everyone around the world my growth since the “Wish” tour and bring you the best live performance.
