Heeeere’s Peacock! The streaming platform just launched an immersive horror experience at an iconic spooky location: the Stanley Hotel. The first-ever Overnightmare takes place inside the infamous Colorado hotel that inspired Stephen King’s The Shining.
Peacock teamed with Blumhouse for Overnightmare, which lets fans step inside the worlds of films like Insidious, The Purge, Freaky, and Happy Death Day. The experience includes a wide range of spooky atmosphere and interactive thrills, along with screenings of recent horror content like Speak No Evil and the James Wan series Teacup. Oh, and guests also found themselves pulled from their beds each night for personalized, immersive scares inspired by Blumhouse features. You know, just in case the haunted hotel wasn’t scary enough.
Peacock recently previewed Overnightmare for a few special guests, including Dylan Efron (The Traitors), Angie Katsanevas (The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City), Cynthia Bailey (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Chloé Lukasiak, and Emma Kenney. You can spot them in a few of the images below.
From October 18 – 20, Overnightmare will officially welcome the public to have their own terrifying experience. Unfortunately, the event is sold out. So if you’re not already one of The Stanley’s guests this weekend, you’ll have to scare up some terror at home. You can head over to Peacock to browse the streamer’s Halloween and horror content, which includes more than 150 titles.
