Inside Out 2 is already one of the most successful animated film Pixar Animation Studios has ever made for Disney, if not the most successful. For starters, it is now the highest grossing animated film of all time. Worldwide, this film grossed $1.687 billion USD, so you can see how that happened. It also ended up breaking multiple box office records, which obviously includes being the highest-grossing film of 2024. However, it’s also now the eighth-highest-grossing film of all time period. As in: only eight live-action films beat it, which includes the likes of James Cameron’s Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, and Titanic. Now you can understand why critics and audiences alike are praising this Pixar film. Certainly, it’s most impressive for the sequel to 2015’s Inside Out.
Thus, you can also see why Inside Out 2 would be making such huge waves once it finally leaves theaters and arrives on streaming. Where, you might ask? Why, where else but Disney+, where it’s already breaking records?
